WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW

1. GENESIS PROJECT

• Children's contact centre for supervised contact with birth parents and children who are going through court proceedings.
• Life Story service, working with children in the care system to provide a Life Story book which is essential for every child in care to have the correct history of their life's journey to date.
• Mum's and baby assessment programme will be developed by the Genesis team to enable them to carry out the assessments required by the family law courts whilst pro-actively supporting and assisting with parenting skills working in conjunction with Design for Life, the Bounty House life skills programme.

2. DESIGN FOR LIFE

Is a programme designed to be tailor made to suit an individual client, to help them in a wide range of services aimed specifically to improve their quality of life. It is a one to one personal coaching giving guidance with healthcare, accommodation and the benefits system and employment. The ultimate goal is to help the client to help themselves.

3. HOSPITALITY PROGRAMME

Bounty House Hospitality Team provide daily meals, onsite for Bounty House residents and also host events at Bounty House and at outside venues catering for: Conferences; Training Course Lunches; Business Breakfasts.

4. RESPITE HOLIDAYS

Bounty House can provide low cost holidays in the beautiful area of South West
Scotland, for minimum groups of 10 (1 x wheelchair en-suite available).

5. ACCOMMODATION

Bounty House are providing long-term accommodation for the elderly, single parent families and also professional couples. They also provide supported living for the rehabilitation of health-care patients.

 

6. EDUCATION

• Bounty House training team has provided cookery classes at the Ford Community Centre specialising in Dutch, Indonesian and English cuisine, teaching a wide range of clients from young families, single people and complete beginners, tailor made to suit individual needs. Sponsored by ONE VISION HOUSING

• Art classes are being run for adults and young carers.

Art Exhibitions are planned for this year.

 

 

7. TRAINING

Bounty House provide housekeeping and hospitality training to acquire Food Hygiene certificate through COATES TRAINING.   www.coatestraining.com

 

8. CRAFTY BUSINESS

CRAFTY BUSINESS by Bounty House TLC.
A group of people who meet on a weekly basis who are creating and selling a range
of craft items, both to support Bounty House TLC and to supplement their income.

9. HOPE & GLORY Ltd

The HOPE & GLORY project's aim is to raise funds to establish and provide a residential Re-adjustment Centre for ex-forces personnel suffering from POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD). Bounty House TLC will be working in association with SAFE COUNSELLING SERVICES for the emotional support of the servicemen/women and their families.

HOPE & GLORY was lauched at St. George's Hall in July 2011 with a Piano Concert, with the kind support of the Liverpool City Coucil through Councillor Joe Anderson.

10. SUPPORT GROUPS

Various support groups including:
• YAH (Young At Heart) a luncheon club for the over 55's This is a lunch club who meet on Tuesday's from 11.00 a.m. To 2.00 p.m.
Various activities take place, including quizzes, card making, bingo, outings etc.
A walking club is due to start up shortly for this club along with a gardening project.
Low cost short breaks in beautiful South West Scotland are also on the agenda
(1 x wheelchair en-suite room available).


• CAL (Chat And Listen) support group for people on hospital weight management programme. This group meets on Thursday mornings from 10 00 a.m.and is a great source of encouragement and support for all those who attend
